Join us

We would love for you and your family to join us in worship on Sundays. All are welcome to join in holy worship, and the fellowship found at Austin Avenue. There is no expectation of a certain dress, status, or any established relationship with the church or Jesus. If you are curious about a relationship with Jesus Christ, and His Church, we hope you will join us for a Sunday morning.  

There is various programming for Kids during all hours on a Sunday morning. Check out our Kids page for more information. 

Sundays at Austin Avenue consist of: 

  9:00 AM | Traditional Worship 

10:00 AM | All Ages Sunday School 

11:00 AM |  Contemporary Worship 

*On months where we have a 5th Sunday, we join for one blended service at 10 AM, followed by a church lunch in the fellowship hall 

9:00 AM | Traditional Worship  

At our Traditional service, you will find liturgy, creeds, scripture, hymns and beautiful organ music. As methodists, we lean into the beautiful traditions found in worship, by reciting prayers and creeds said by the saints for centuries.  

11:00 AM | Contemporary Worship 

Still set in our beautiful historic sanctuary, our contemporary worship service focuses on simple, accessible worship- featuring modern worship music. You won’t find a big band, smoke machines or fancy light shows. But you will find beautiful contemporary music, friendly community, and an accessible message preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. 

Sunday School

During the 10:00 AM hour each week, there are several Sunday School classes available for all ages. You can find more information about Kids and Youth on their pages. Sunday School is a great way to further your biblical education, and also connect with other people in the church! You will often find our Sunday School classes serving together, and fellowshipping in and out of church.  

 

In addition to age level Sunday School classes from Nursery though 12th Grade, we currently have the following Adult Sunday School classes meeting weekly. All are open to visitors, if you want to give it a try! You will find the classes by name, and general demographics, and location of the class below. If you want help identifying which Sunday School class might be best, please contact us, and we will be happy to make a suggestion.
