A Waco native and Baylor alumnus, Rev. Brandon Frenzel has served Methodist Churches inside and outside of Texas, and truly loves serving in Waco, where he and his family have deep roots. He holds a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies and a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary but above all considers himself a lifelong learner of the Bible and the heart of Christ. Brandon is passionate about relational ministry, Biblical teaching, and people becoming true disciples of Jesus. 

He is married to his college sweetheart, Alison, a Waco business leader, and is father to his clever and hilarious children, Ava and Asher. In his free time, you can find him drinking good coffee, working on cars, reading a novel, or watching a movie that he will want to talk about with you later.

Olivia grew up in Fort Worth, TX attending Arborlawn UMC, and attended Texas A&M to purse a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering. It was in College Station that she discerned a call to ministry and gained mentorship through the seminary application process. Olivia pursed her Master of Divinity at Truett Theological Seminary.

Olivia met and married her husband Nathan at Texas A&M, and they are now raising a little aggie, Daniel! 

Olivia's heart is to minister to the families of Waco! She understands that Kids and students are only in the walls of the church for 3-5 hours out of their entire week...if we are not equipping our families to have conversations about Jesus in the home, then we are not doing ministry right.  

Sara Meg oversees the church administration and plans and leads worship at Austin Avenue. Having led worship for more than ten years, her professional background is in business management and senior care. Her heart is for bringing people into the Kingdom through the good work of the congregation here at Austin Avenue. Originally from Colorado, Sara Meg and her husband Ben are parents of three little boys who you will often find running the hallways of Austin Avenue. 

Brian was born and raised in Waco and has been involved with the ministries at Austin Avenue for almost five years. He is a Baylor Graduate and is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity at Baylor’s George W. Truett Theological Seminary. He is recently engaged to his beautiful fiancé, MC. Brian is thrilled to be a part of our Austin Avenue Staff.  

Originally from California, Cam has been in Waco since 2010. He has a son, Simon. In addition to leading worship for the last decade and a half here in Waco, Cam is a senior lecturer in collaborative piano at Baylor University. Cam is an incredibly talented pianist and organist, and in recent years has joined the Dallas Winds and Dallas Chamber Orchestra, and can be heard in the score of the upcoming Texas nature documentary “Deep in the Heart II”. We are thrilled to work with Cam, and expand our traditional worship offering, honoring the longstanding history of beautiful sacred music at Austin Avenue.

A Waco local, Bobby has been taking care of our historic building (and it’s people) for more than 20 years, tending to each iteration of Austin Avenue. We are incredibly grateful for his wide knowledge of building maintenance, and his willingness to stick with us through many years of change.  

Abby is AAMC's Parent's Day Out Director. She has worked in education for over ten years and is passionate about creating spaces that foster curiosity and reflect God's love. She attends Austin Avenue on Sunday mornings with her husband, Gage, and their four children, and she is excited to serve her church and the surrounding community through the ministry of childcare. 

Skylar grew up in South Louisiana and works full time as a Pediatric Speech Therapist at a local clinic. She enjoys spending time with her family reading, playing board games, and enjoying the outdoors. Skylar is so thankful for the opportunity to pour into the children of the church and help them know their intrinsic value and worth that is found in the Lord!
